4/22/2005 - 24-Hour Comics Day 2005

24 Hour Comics Day 2005 has arrived! BorderWalker's Chris Watkins and a heap of other cartoonists and artists are taking on the 24-hour challenge at Coyote's Den in Canandaigua, NY from 12 noon on Saturday the 23rd to 12 noon on Sunday the 24th.

Two big events will be taking place this month, so pull on your driving cap and gloves for:
• I-Con, April 8th-10th, at SUNY Stony Brook:
Chris Watkins & Jack Pendleton will be putting their illustrations, fantasy art, and comic artwork on display in the I-Con Art Show, and will be available for chatting and comic selling in the Artists' Alley. Visit www.iconsf.org for more details about the show.
• 24 Hour Comics Day, April 23rd-24th, at The Coyote's Den in Canandaigua, NY:
Once again, BorderWalker's Chris Watkins will be participating in this 24-hour long "marathon cartooning challenge," at The Coyote's Den in Canandaigua, NY. The event begins at 12 noon on Saturday the 23rd, and ends at 12 noon on Sunday the 24th. Come see live cartoonists in action, destroying their health and sanity for their art! Also participating at this event site will be award-winning comic artist Tom Galambos and experimental sculpture artist Greg Lendeck.
